As a young college student in the late 1980s in Newton, Massachusetts (originally a Baystate native from Dedham, MA) I was looking for a job to help pay my tuition. I met a wonderful real estate broker who took me under her wing and started teaching me about real estate. Within a few months I had my salesperson's license and a couple years later I got my broker's license. Technology was taking off in all areas of business and I wanted to put my marketing degree from Boston College to work. My love for sales and technology led me to a career as an audio/visual sales consultant, where I worked for almost a decade with large corporations and universities throughout Boston designing some of the coolest videoconferencing and AV rooms in the area.
